Step
1 - Assessment
ALTECH examines the
customer's entire production process to ensure all inputs are understood
and accounted in the design specification. Samples and flow-rate data
are obtained. Where the customer has already completed an analysis ALTECH
usually can expedite this assessment.
Step 2 - Laboratory Analysis
ALTECH's laboratory staff analyse the samples and create a design model
to conceptualize the wastewater system.
Step 3 - Bench Scale Tests
ALTECH engineers conduct bench scale tests on the samples to develop performance
information for scale-up to pilot or full-size production systems.
Step 4 - Application Testing
In larger scale tests ALTECH's design engineers evaluate a range of options
to optimize performance, reliability and to minimize costs. The customer
is consulted and involved with these tests and is provided with a comprehensive
technical report that details the options and offers specific recommendations.
Step 5 - Pilot Plant Evaluation
Should circumstances warrant, further tests are conducted at the customer's
site using larger scale equipment.
Step 6 - Final Design and Construction
Based on the information obtained from design tests ALTECH develops an
engineered solution using Computer Aided Design (CAD) which addresses
site specific contaminant removal requirements as well as plant layout
and operating constraints.
