Labatt Breweries of Canada

Labatt Brewing Company Limited (Labatt), the largest brewer in Canada and its flagship facility in London partnered with Altech to review and update its existing Environmental Compliance Audit (ECA) and Emission Summary and Dispersion Modeling (ESDM) for the previous year to summarize the activities to the Ministry of the Environment and ensure compliance for continued operations.

The review included the processing of brewery and ready to drink products consisting of:

•grain handling
•brewhouse operations including one brew kettle and all supporting operations and tanks
•non-brewed products operations
•powerhouse operations
•packaging and shipping operations
•cogeneration
•boilers

Altech’s report included a summary of modifications, emissions data, changes in emission rates, and noise impact predictions to effectively maintain compliance for Labatt’s London facility to continue operations.
